Nicole Chevalier

Nicole's current season includes her acclaimed role debut as Salome in a new production by Evgeny Titov at the Komische Oper Berlin, Agathe (Freischütz) with the American Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, and Mabel (Pirates of Penzance) in an innovative new production at the Volksoper Wien. One of Europe’s most exciting singing actors, past credits include new productions of Elettra (Idomeneo) directed by Peter Sellars at the Salzburg Festival, Vitellia (Clemenza di Tito) directed by Richard Jones at the Royal Ballet and Opera, and Four Heroines (Hoffmann) directed by Barrie Kosky, for which she received Germany’s prestigious Der Faust award.
